A method for controlling a head-up display (HUD) for a vehicle comprises the steps of: activating frequency contents disposed at an edge of a HUD area and outputting a specific frequency; activating a camera monitoring pupils of a driver who sees the frequency contents; detecting, by the camera, a frequency based on movement of the pupils of the driver; determining whether the detected frequency corresponds to the specific frequency; and controlling a position of the HUD area if the detected frequency corresponds to the specific frequency. |
