PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel and a method for manufacturing the touch panel in which a concavo-convex pressure mark formed by a level difference of a positioning mark or a metal wire pattern is decreased even when a touch sensor comprising the positioning mark or the metal wiring pattern is continuously processed into a wound-up state.SOLUTION: The touch panel includes a first transparent film substrate and a second transparent film substrate successively layered. The first transparent film substrate includes, on one surface thereof: a display region 11x comprising a detection sensor in an X-axis direction formed of a metal wiring pattern; an outer circumference wiring part 12x formed of a metal wiring pattern to cover the outer circumference of the above display region; and a positioning mark 14x for the display region. The second transparent substrate includes, in a similar manner: a display region comprising a detection sensor in a Y-axis direction; an outer circumference wiring part; and a positioning mark formed on the substrate. All the metal wiring patterns have a line width of 30 μm or less. The positioning marks have a line width of 30 μm or more and the positioning marks are formed outside the display region and the outer circumference wiring part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
