PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmission cable which can suppress a decrease in flexibility even when a plurality of channels are used.SOLUTION: A signal transmission cable 1A has a signal processing circuit 12 electrically connected to an internal circuit of an external device 101, and includes: a terminal part configured in the way that it can be inserted into/removed from the external device 101; and a metal wire electrically connected to the signal processing circuit 12. The signal processing circuit 12 has a transmission processing part 122 and/or a reception processing part 123. The transmission processing part 122 receives transmission signals S1, S2 configuring a plurality of channels from the external device 101 and outputs to the metal wire reception signals S3, S4 that have multiplied the transmission signals S1, S2 by pulse amplitude modulation. A reception processing part 123 receives reception signals S3, S4 from the metal wire and outputs to the external device 102 output signals S5, S6 corresponding to a plurality of channels demodulated from the reception signals S3, S4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
