A method and apparatus for filtering short messages are disclosed. The method comprises: acquiring the short messages to be examined which do not meet the examining criteria of a first examining system; determining whether the received short messages to be examined meet the preset filtering criteria; if so, filtering the short messages to be examined; otherwise transmitting the short messages to be examined to a second examining system. |
