PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it easy to introduce application programs to be a pair distributed in a portable terminal device and a device for performing operation interlocked with the portable terminal device.SOLUTION: A control system includes an operation object controller for controlling an operation object on the basis of an operation message from a portable terminal device. The operation object controller includes: means for executing an object application program for controlling the operation object; means for acquiring the object application program; and means for receiving the operation message. The portable terminal device includes: means for storing a controller-making program for making the portable terminal device function as a controller for the operation object controller, and the object application program; means for executing the controller-making program; means for transferring the object application program to the operation object controller; and means for transmitting input information, as the operation message, to the operation object controller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
