PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the convenience of user authentication.SOLUTION: The object set forth above can be achieved by a method for authentication service including the steps of: storing in a storage unit a user ID of a user belonging to an organization and authentication server identification information of an authentication server in the organization, where authentication information of the users of the organization is managed, in relation to an organization ID of the organization; making a request for issuing a certificate containing the organization ID to an authentication station if there is received a request for issuing a certificate to the user; issuing the certificate to the user if the certificate containing the organization ID is received from the authentication station; connecting to the authentication server in the organization based on the organization ID in the certificate received in response to a request for authentication from a user terminal of the user; and making a computer perform processing for authentication in the authentication server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
