PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which rare cells can be efficiently recovered without disturbing adsorption to the surface of a substrate for cell development (preferably to the bottom face of a microchamber) while inhibiting adsorption to the surface of a laboratory instrument, using a substance treating cells.SOLUTION: The invention provides a cell development method comprising a cell immobilization treatment process, a protein removal process, and a cell development process, as well as fulfilling the following conditions (a)-(c): (a) in the cell immobilization treatment process, a fixing agent consisting of a compound (glyoxal etc.) comprising two or more aldehyde groups in one molecule is used; (b) at least in a protein removal process and/or cell development process, a pipette tip and/or micro tube of a material selected from polypropylene etc. are used; (c) in a cell development process, a substrate for cell development made from polystyrene is used.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
