PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of determining a non-touch operation of a user more properly.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus detects a three-dimensional position of a finger of a user in a detection area, and divides the detection area into an area R1 and an area R2. In first determination processing on a position where the finger of the user is located, when the finger of the user is determined to be located in the area R2, the user operation is determined to be a gesture operation (in principle). When second determination processing determines that the finger of the user is located in the area R1 (a movement path P21) even if the first determination processing determines that the finger of the user is located in the area R2, the user operation is determined not to be a gesture operation (but to be a touch operation).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
