The present specification relates to an apparatus for detecting the ground fault of a three-phase photovoltaic PCU and a method for detecting the ground fault of the three-phase photovoltaic PCU. More particularly, to solve the limitation of existing technique, the apparatus excludes a separate detection device such as ELCB, detects a ground fault generated in a system by the detecting voltage of the system, can detect the ground fault without including a separate detection device such as the ELCB. Thereby, the design of a photovoltaic PCU is simplified and facilitated. The apparatus includes a sensor part; a conversion part; a filter part; and a control part. |
