PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend an application to be mounted on a second device of a category different from a first device, by use of a history of use of an application mounted on the first device.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a calculation processing section 12 which determines the number of times that each of applications is used by each of users, by PC 1 and smartphone 2, on the basis of use information of the application used in the PC 1 and the smartphone 2; a preference degree calculation section 13 which determines a degree of preference of each of users on each of applications, by PC 1 and smartphone 2, on the basis of the number of times of use; a grouping processing section 14 which groups the users having similar preference, in reference to the degree of preference, by PC 1 and smartphone 2; a related group selection section 15 which selects a group of smartphone 2 related to a group of PC 1 to which a target user belongs; and a recommendation processing section 16 which recommends an application to the target user who uses a new smartphone 3, on the basis of the preference of a user belonging to the selected group on the application.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
