PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel medicament for the prevention and/or treatment of pulmonary hypertension targeting a molecule involved in the formation of pathological conditions of pulmonary artery pulmonary hypertension by finding out the molecules; and to provide a screening method for pulmonary hypertension therapeutic agent targeting the molecule.SOLUTION: The invention provides a medicament for the prevention and/or treatment of pulmonary hypertension containing as an active ingredient, an agent inhibiting a signaling from IL-21, and a screening method for a pulmonary hypertension therapeutic agent using IL-21 and an IL-21 receptor.SELECTED DRAWING: None
