The present invention relates to the display of an advertisement in a search service, and the objective of the present invention is to display the advertisement in such a way that the relevance to a search term is clear. An information display device 10 according to the present invention is provided with: a map generating unit 121 which places an information population containing arbitrarily defined information on a screen on the basis of a similarity between the content of the information; an additional information placing unit 122 which, when additional information that differs from the information population containing the arbitrarily defined information is acquired, places the additional information in the vicinity of the information, from among the information which has been placed on the screen, having content that is similar to that of the additional information; a display unit 123 which displays a map in which points indicating each item of information contained in the information population, and a point indicating the additional information, are placed on the screen; and an additional information display unit 124 which displays the additional information if the point indicating the additional information on the map is selected. |
