Novelty: an olive fruit-harvesting system is disclosed. Constitution: the main circular bipartite ring (1) which is in position to open and close like a fan and embrace the olive tree at the ground level. Said ring is composed of two separate parts-levels (6,7): an upper meshed part-level allowing the olive fruit to get through the mesh to the second part-level and therefrom to the detachable mesh-like collection sacks (3). The packaging unit (4) provided is a metal construction assisting the storage of the collected olive fruit into sacks. Advantages: significant harvesting time savings and, thereby, daily production increase; less painstaking harvesting process since fabrics, plastic containers and sieves for the separation of olive fruits from branches and foliage are omitted. |
