An assembly and method that facilitate elevated and level placement of a paver surface is disclosed. An embodiment of the assembly comprises a base with a foot, a key receptacle, and a concave surface; a cap with (a) a paver support surface, (b) a hole through an axis of the cap, and (c) a convex surface, wherein the cap is positioned on the base so that the concave and convex surfaces slidably and rotatably interface; and, a key with a flange, wherein the key is positioned through the hole in the cap and in the key receptacle to maintain the interface of the concave and convex surfaces. |
