The present invention relates to a rice washer used for washing small amounts of rice when preparing rice at home. In the invention, since water and rice are mixed without getting water on a person′s hands by subjecting the water and rice to friction from a projecting part and rotor blades, rice is quickly and easily washed; the frequency of flow friction of the projecting part caused by rotation of the rotor blades increases such that the rice is uniformly mixed and thoroughly washed; flow friction with the rice is performed in a flexible manner such that destruction of nutrients in the rice is prevented; sanitation problems due to foreign substances from hand creams or manicured nails, and the like, are resolved; and the length of a supporting part for a rotation shaft installed in the upper portion of a rice washing container is configured to increase and decrease so as to be suitable for both large and small washing containers, and thus the rice washer according to the present invention is excellent in terms of efficiency. |
