<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin letterpress printing plate precursor for CTP to be used for a letterpress plate or a flexographic plate, having such characteristics that the printing precursor has excellent handling property during appropriate production to transportation and platemaking without inducing peeling of a protective film, although the protective film is easily peeled upon platemaking, and that the precursor shows no decrease in ablation sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive resin letterpress printing plate precursor comprises a support body, a photosensitive resin layer, a heat sensitive mask layer, a peeling strength adjusting layer and a protective film, successively layered.
