The invention relates to a floor box (10) to be embedded in a screed poured on a floor, said box including a base (100) to be attached to a floor and a cover (200) connected to the base, forming a permanent formwork for producing an empty cavity in the cast screed. According to the invention, the cover comprises a front wall (210) provided with at least one slot (230) which defines at least one portion that is foldable, i.e. deformable by folding along at least one folding line, in order to form at least one area for being gripped by a fitter (200) in order to extract same from the engagement thereof with the base, said area being integral with the front wall of the cover. |
