According to one aspect of the invention, a user interface (UI) providing method utilizes the correlation between the movements or positions of two or more devices in order to provide an extended and more convenient UI. The UI providing method comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining information regarding posture and movements of first and second devices and sensing an input event specified based on the correlation between the posture and movements of the first and second devices; and (b) providing at least a part of functions and content provided to the first device to the second device in response to the occurrence of the input event or providing at least a part of functions and content provided to the second device to the first device.
