The present invention relates to a multi-channel camera device having an image photographing unit for photographing an image and connectable with a plurality of assisting cameras to multiple channels. According to the present invention, the multi-channel camera device comprises: a communications interface for supporting wired or wireless connection with respect to the a plurality of sub-cameras, and supporting wired or wireless connection with an external control center and another multi-channel camera device; a data storing unit for storing an image transmitted from the sub-cameras through the communications interface and an image photographed by the image photographing unit; a network transmitting unit for transmitting the image stored in the data storing unit to the control center, and transmitting the image transmitted from the sub-cameras or the image photographed by the image photographing unit to the control center; a state control unit for checking operation states, image setting states, or image transmission states of the sub-cameras and the multi-channel camera device connected through the communications interface; and an electric power unit for supplying electric power to the multi-channel camera device and the sub-cameras.
