The present invention relates to fusion protein of mussel adhesive protein linked with silica-bonded peptide, a fusion protein-silica nanoparticle composite which comprises silica nanoparticles formed by bonding silica to the fusion protein and has bioactivity and adhesive properties for promoting cell proliferation or cell differentiation, a manufacturing method thereof, a surface coating agent comprising the composite, a use thereof, and a surface coating method using the same.
