PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector including a reinforcement member for enhancing the bonding strength to a substrate, and also enhancing the rigidity of a housing significantly.SOLUTION: The connector includes reinforcement brackets 40 at both ends in the longitudinal direction thereof. The reinforcement bracket 40 has a first reinforcement part 41, a pair of second reinforcement parts 42, and a pair of coupling parts 43. The first reinforcement part 41 has a pair of holding parts 411 which extend while holding the end wall of the housing (not shown). The lower surfaces 412(surfaces directing upward in Fig. 4) of the pair of holding parts 411 are solder joined, respectively, to the substrate. Each of the pair of second reinforcement parts 42 has a pair of holding parts 421 extending while holding the sidewall of the housing. Lower surfaces 422 of these pair of holding parts 421 are also solder joined to the substrate. These first holding parts 411 and a pair of second holding parts 421 are also coupled by a pair of coupling parts 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
