PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to configure a recording device using a configuration of the recording device and a management communicating via a network.SOLUTION: A recording device 12 transmits attribute information. A management device 10 receives the attribute information transmitted by the recording device 12, and transmits environment setting information stored in association with the attribute information to the recording device 12. The recording device 12 receives the environment setting information transmitted by the management device 10, and configures environment setting on the basis of the environment setting information, and transmits a setting completion notice indicating the completion of setting to the management device 10 on completing the setting.
