PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of checking a position of an endoscope insertion portion easily with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An endoscope insertion state observation device includes: a transmission signal generation unit 51 that is provided in an endoscope insertion portion inserted into a subject and generates a transmission signal; a position detection unit 31 which has a reception unit 41 that receives the transmission signal and is arranged movably in the outside of the subject; a distance calculation unit that determines a positional relationship between the transmission signal generation unit and the reception unit on the basis of the reception result of the reception unit and calculates the distance between the transmission signal generation unit and the reception unit on the basis of the determined positional relationship; and presentation units 7, 8 that present information on the distance calculated by the distance calculation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
