An electric folding mechanism of a foldable transport vehicle. Provided below a footrest (1) thereof is a motor (2). A motor shaft (3) is provided with a worm gear (4). The worm gear is connected to a worm (5). A toggling gear (7) is provided at an extremity of the worm fitting a foldable shaft (6). The foldable shaft is provided with corresponding gear teeth. The electric folding mechanism of the foldable transport vehicle is capable of implementing electric-powered folding, where opening and closing of foldable joints are completed by means of electric control, also is capable of implementing multilevel control, avoids complex manual operating processes, provides a high level of automaticity, is fast and effortless to use, transmits movements during the implementation process primarily by driving the worm gear and the worm via the motor, where the worm gear and the worm can produce a large drive ratio, and has stable transmission a low noise level. |
