Subject matter of the present invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist for use in a method of prevention of cancer. Particularly, subject matter of the present invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist according to the compounds of Formula (I) or a tautomer thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a tautomer thereof for use in a method of preventing cancer. In a very specific embodiment the non-peptide antagonist fosaprepitant or aprepitant is said neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist. In another specific embodiment, subject matter of the present invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist for use in a method of preventing cancer as monotherapeutic agent. |
