PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient vacuum cleaner by reducing the size and weight of a vacuum cleaner body.SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes: a lower case and an upper case forming the outer shell of a body; an electric blower case for accommodating an electric blower and a control board; a dust collection part; and a power cord winding part. The lower case includes: sidewalls arranged on both sides and extending upward from a bottom part; a partition wall arranged nearly at a center in a front and rear direction and partitioning the front part of the lower case and the rear part of the lower case; and a rear wall arranged at a rear end and extending upward from the bottom part of the lower case. In the rear part of the lower case, the electric blower case is arranged on one side in a right and left direction and the cord winding part is arranged on the other side to allow the rotation axis to be horizontal. The partition wall includes: a communication part for allowing the dust collection part to communicate with the electric blower case; and a recession where a portion opposing to the front end of the cord winding part is recessed toward the dust collection part. A lower case hole is formed in the lower case including the lower part of the recession. A bottom cover for blocking the lower case hole is arranged. |
