The present invention relates to a display device capable of inputting information by using an adjacent external apparatus, and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device comprises: a wireless communication unit wirelessly connected to an external apparatus; a display unit outputting screen information including an input window for inputting information, and a graphic object corresponding to the external apparatus by the wireless connection; and a control unit controlling the wireless communication unit to transmit a control signal, to the external apparatus, outputting an information input screen to receive information on the external apparatus based on the touch input applied to the graphic object, and to receive the information inputted on the information input screen. |
