Disclosed are a positioning method and an electronic device. The positioning method comprises: acquiring a cell identity of a terminal to be positioned; determining , according to the cell identity of the terminal to be positioned, at least one adjacent terminal of the terminal to be positioned, a cell identity of each of the at least one adjacent terminal being the same as the cell identity of the terminal to be positioned; acquiring geomagnetic information of the position of each of the at least one adjacent terminal and geomagnetic information of the position of the terminal to be positioned, so as to generate a geomagnetic information group of the terminal to be positioned; and acquiring information of the geographical position of the terminal to be positioned according to the geomagnetic information group of the terminal to be positioned. The method and the electronic device provided in the present invention are used for solving the technical problems that positioning stability, positioning precision and positioning accuracy cannot be all considered in the existing positioning technology. |
