PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector that enables a fixture with elasticity to be used as a power supply while maintaining the strength and the connection stability, and that can achieve stable fitting, while reducing a size (saving a space of a substrate occupied area) and lowering a height.SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 is used for a power supply by contact between first contact means 263 of a first fixture 26 with elasticity and second contact means 463 of a second fixture 46 at fitting between connectors. By making an inclination part 445 of a receptacle contact 44 and an inclination part 422 of an insertion hole 421 of a housing 42 have substantially the same shape, backup of the receptacle contact 44 is adjusted, and thereby, stable connection can be obtained. A first chamfered part 446 of the receptacle contact 44 is engaged with a recessed part 243 of a plug contact 24 to give the click feeling, and is positioned and contacted to make a contact part 441 and an elastic part 444 hold the plug contact 24.
