PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker having 2-pole 4-terminal structure in which two poles can be excellently insulated from each other even in a structure having two contacts per pole.SOLUTION: A movable contact 13 has a support shaft 20 at the center. Movable contacts 13a, 13b provided to both the ends thereof and fixed contacts 15a, 16a provided to stationary contacts 15, 16 contact/dissociate each other by turning of the movable contact 13, thereby performing connection/cut-off of a cable way L. A cut-off mechanism portion has an abnormal current detector 11 for detecting abnormal current flowing in the cable way, and an opening/closing mechanism portion for transferring an operation of an operation handle 3 to the movable contact 13 in addition to the detection operation of the abnormal current detector 11. A pair of cable ways L are disposed in a pair of cable way disposing spaces C which are formed and separated by an insulation wall 23 formed in a body case 4 so as to extend from a power-source side terminal 1 to a load side terminal 2 respectively, and the operation handle 3 and the opening/closing mechanism portion 10 are disposed on one of the pair of cable way disposing spaces C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
