Disclosed are a device and method for calculating a standard route of a moving object. A device for calculating a standard route of a moving object, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an area division unit for dividing an area comprising the departure point and the destination point of a moving object into a plurality of cells; a data mapping unit for mapping past location tracking data for the moving object to the plurality of cells; a principal cell selection unit for selecting at least one principal cell, among the plurality of cells, according to the number of items of past location tracking data mapped to the plurality of cells; and a standard route calculation unit for forming the standard route of the moving object by sequentially connecting the departure point, the one or more principal cell, and the destination point. |
