Apparatus and method for providing device charging information

Mechanisms are described for providing information to a user regarding a wireless charging operation via the user's mobile terminal. Information may be received from a device engaged in a wireless charging operation, such as the user device being charged and/or the wireless charging plate via which the user device is charged, in response to a trigger. Information such as a charge time remaining, an amount of charge completed, or a charging queue status may be presented by the user's mobile terminal, such as via a display of the mobile terminal and/or through an audible indication provided by a speaker of the mobile terminal. The trigger may be any of a number of user interactions with the device engaged in the wireless charging operation.

1. An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least:
receive information from a wireless charging plate or a wirelessly chargeable device in response to a trigger; and provide for presentation of the information by a mobile terminal, wherein the information comprises charging information of the wirelessly chargeable device relating to a charging operation conducted between the wireless charging plate and the wirelessly chargeable device, and wherein the wirelessly chargeable device is a user device other than the mobile terminal that is presenting the information.
