A device for preventing the deformation of a display device is provided with: an elastically deformable sheet-like display unit; a sensor which is deformed integrally with the display unit and outputs a signal corresponding to the deformation of the display unit; a control unit for comparing the amount of deformation of the display unit with a prescribed value on the basis of the signal and outputting the comparison result; and a drive unit for outputting, on the basis of the comparison result, a drive signal to an operating unit different from the display unit, the drive signal causing the operating unit to perform a warning operation. |
