PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner capable of improving performance to clime over a step on a floor surface without sacrificing the suction performance of suction ports with respect to dust on a floor surface.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner includes: a body having drive wheels and moving on a floor surface by rolling the drive wheels; suction ports arranged in the bottom surface of the body and sucking dust on a floor surface; an inclination surface arranged on a side different from the side of the suction ports on the bottom surface of the body and formed to allow a distance from a floor surface to be larger toward the outer periphery of the body; step detection means for detecting a projection step on a floor surface that disturbs the movement of the body in a state where the side with the suction ports arranged thereon faces an advance direction; and control means for moving the body by allowing the side with the inclination surface arranged thereon to face the advance direction of the body when a projection step is detected in the advance direction of the body by the step detection means. |
