PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically change a recording state of a moving image when a recording time different from a recording time of moving image data recorded in an existing file is set.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: recording means for recording moving image data of a preset recording time in a storage medium in a predetermined recording mode; and means for controlling whether to add the recorded moving image data to a predetermined moving image file already recorded in the predetermined recording mode, in which the control means controls the moving image data recorded in the predetermined recording mode to be added to the predetermined moving image file when the preset recording time is equivalent with a recording time of the moving image data in the predetermined moving image file, and controls the moving image data recorded in the predetermined recording mode no to be added to the predetermined moving image file when the preset recording time is not equivalent with the recording time of the moving image data fo the predetermined moving image file. |
