PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory unit making it clear that an initialization processing in the memory unit has been reliably performed.SOLUTION: The memory unit includes a storage area capable of storing game related information relating to a game using game media, input and output terminals for receiving input and output signals for performing inputs and outputs of the game related information, and an initialization terminal for receiving an initialization signal for initializing the storage area. If the initialization signal is received by the initialization terminal, the storage area being polarized to one of two stable states is initialized to an initial state. After being initialized to the initial state, and after an initialization release time for allowing to store the game related information in the storage area is clocked, when the game related information is allowed to be stored in the storage area by the input/output of the game related information, the input and output signals from the input and output terminals are controlled to be receivable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 86 |
