The present invention relates to a preparation method of a copolymer using a palladium catalyst and a copolymer prepared therefrom. The preparation method of the copolymer of the present invention comprises a step of combining same or different monomers in presence of a palladium catalyst, a ligand, and an alkaline additive, wherein the monomer is a heterocyclic compound including a hetero atom selected from S, N, and O, and at least one hydrogen atom is bonded to a carbon atom adjacent to the hetero atom. Different from a conventional preparation method, by forming a copolymer by bonding carbon atoms adjacent the hetero atom in each monomer, the preparation method can prepare a copolymer by performing CH-CH allylation reaction among monomers without using an end-capping agent and a halogenation step. |
