PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling device capable of efficiently discharging peeled skins without depending on manual work.SOLUTION: A peeling device 10 is composed of a water bath 20 and a basket 30. The water bath 20 stores water. The basket 30 is installed inside the water bath 20. A slit 33 is formed in the basket 30. The slit 33 is formed on a top edge 34 side of the basket. That is, the slit 33 is formed in the vicinity of the water surface at a full water level. The water stored in the water bath 20 is flowing, which causes skins of vegetables and the like to be peeled. A horizontal plane is parallel with a rotation axis of the water flow.
