The method involves applying a measuring device comprising measuring tape (2) against carpentry at a level of a sewer located along a lower edge of the device. Marks (3) are arranged in different series (S1-S5), where each series is provided at a uniform spacing, and pre-defines same edges of different tiles. One series of the marks appropriate to dimensions of the carpentry is selected. The marks of the selected series are marked on the carpentry to define a position and a spacing of the tiles, and the tiles are installed from the marked marks. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring lay-out of tiles. |
