PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cation adsorbent capable of adsorbing and recovering various kinds of substances with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A production method of a cation adsorbent comprising tungsten oxide fine particles is provided, which includes a step of oxidizing while sublimating a raw material comprising a metal tungsten powder, a tungsten compound powder, or a tungsten compound solution in an oxygen atmosphere to form tungsten oxide fine particles having a BET specific surface area in the range from 11 to 300 m/g. A cation to be adsorbed by the above cation absorbent is one ion selected from Cs, Sr, I and Li.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
