PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel unit capable of effectively preventing reflection.SOLUTION: The panel unit 100 includes: a display panel 2 which has an image display area 2A; and a glass panel 1 which is disposed in front of the display panel 2 being interposed by a distance therebetween. The glass panel 1 has an image transparent area 1A which has optical transparency and is positioned in front of the image display area 2A. The glass panel 1 includes: a glass plate 10; a reflection prevention layer 12 disposed in the image transparent area 1A; and a thermal fusion layer 11 that bonds the reflection prevention layer 12 and the glass plate 10.
