The control unit sets a first area and a second area on a screen and senses a position on the screen touched by the user. An operation identified in accordance with the position sensed in the first area is invalidated so as not to be executed in the information processing device if the touch position was sensed in the second area within a predetermined time after the touch position was sensed in the first area.

An information processing device configured to be held and be operable with a single hand of a user, the information processing device comprising: a processor; at least one memory; a display unit including a touch screen; a setting unit configured to set a first area and a second area on the touch screen, the second area being independent of the first area; a sensing unit configured to sense a touch position on the touch screen touched by the user; and an invalidation unit configured to invalidate, in a case where the sensing unit senses the touch position in the second area within a predetermined time after the sensing unit sensed the touch position in the first area, an operation identified in accordance with the touch position sensed in the first area so as not to execute the operation in the information processing device, wherein the invalidation unit doesn't invalidate, in a case where the sensing unit doesn't sense the touch position in the second area within the predetermined time after the sensing unit sensed the touch position in the first area, the operation identified in accordance with the touch position sensed in the first area, wherein at least one of the units is implemented upon executions of instructions stored in the at least one memory.
