A duplex control system of a controller in a software defined network comprises: an active controller for transmitting an open flow message through a control channel and a data channel; and a standby controller synchronized with the active controller through the control channel and the data channel, and for monitoring the open flow message received through the control channel and the data channel, and regarding an error as a failure of the active controller when the error occurs, to transmit an deactivation command to the active controller. The active controller operates in a standby mode when receiving the deactivation command. |
