A connection unit (10), suitable for assembly in an assembly volume of a predetermined size of a structure, comprises a housing (12) intended for the accommodation of at least one part of the function elements of the connection unit (10) and configured as a housing pot having a pot opening (27), a circumferential pot side wall (28) and a pot bottom (30), and an assembly frame (18) having a substantially planar baseplate (56), by means of which the connection unit (10) can be fastened to a surface area of the structure. According to the present invention, the housing pot comprises a housing main part (14) and a housing cover part (16), which can be connected to one another, wherein the dividing line (34) between the housing main part (14) and the housing cover part (16) starts at a first edge portion of the pot side wall (28), subsequently passing through the pot bottom (30) and further subsequently through a second portion of the pot side wall (28) and ends in a second edge portion of the pot opening (27). |
