Provided is a device for analyzing emotion using a packet. The device is capable of determining the emotional status of a user by analyzing a packet. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for analyzing emotion using a packet comprises: a packet input/output part for receiving a packet transmitted from a server, or receiving a packet created by a client device; a packet analyzing part for extracting specific information included in the packet which is transmitted to the packet input-output part, by analyzing the packet; and a processing part for searching emotional information matching the specific information and deciding a control signal corresponding to the emotional information.
