PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of easily handling a storage target stored in a base at a portion supporting a cab even when getting-on/off means is provided sideways of the cab.SOLUTION: A demolition machine 1 includes an upper frame 4, a cab 5 provided above the upper frame 4, and stairs 11 and 12. The upper frame 4 has a base 43 directly or indirectly supporting the cab 5. The base 43 is constituted by a hollow box capable of storing a storage target, and has an opening for handling the storage target on a side surface on which the stairs 11 and 12 are arranged.
