PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect if an image displayed on a head-mounted display causes dizziness not intended by a user.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection part 901 calculates the amounts of travel &Dgr;x, &Dgr;y, and &Dgr;z of a head in directions per unit time, the amounts of rotation of the head around shafts &Dgr;&phgr;, &Dgr;&thetas;, and &Dgr;ψ, the absolute value |P| of movement of the head and norm ||P||, and the absolute value |r| of rotation of the head and norm ||r|| moment by moment, compares the size between the values and threshold set to the respective values, and detects an image that may cause dizziness not intended by a user. According to the detection of abnormality, switching of displays and removal of a head-mounted display from the head are instructed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
