A pocket-type electric contact terminal for surface mounting by reflow soldering comprises: an elastic heat-resistant rubber core having an entrance formed on a lower surface thereof in a longitudinal direction and a storage space formed therein and connected to the entrance; and a heat-resistant polymer film wherein an inner surface thereof is affixed to the core to enclose the core, and a solderable metal layer is formed on an outer surface thereof. The upper surface of the core forms a pickup surface which can be picked up by vacuum suction. A soldering unit is formed on the lower surface of the core from both sides of the entrance and soldered to a circuit board. Portions of the metal layer forming a boundary between the entrance and the storage space are arranged in contact with each other or separated from each other.
