PURPOSE:To easily execute positioning at the time of switching an optical path by switching and guiding each end face of plural optical fibers, between a first switching position opposed to each end face, respectively, of the corresponding optical fibers of a first group, and a second switching position opposed to each end face, respectively, of the corresponding optical fibers of a second group, by a rotation of a guide pin. CONSTITUTION:Each end face of plural optical fibers of a first ferrule 20 is switched and guided between the first and the second switching positions of the end face of the second ferrule, by a guide pin 50 by which the center axis of the first axial part 40a to be fitted and inserted to guide pin fitting and inserting holes 20f, 20g of the first ferrule 20 side, and the center axis of the second axial part 40b to be fitted and inserted to guide pin fitting and inserting holes 30f, 30g of the second axial part 30 are eccentric to each other. Accordingly, the positioning accuracy of the first ferrule 20 does not depend on the external form accuracy of the first and the second ferrules 20, 30 but depends on the external form accuracy of the guide pin 50 and the piercing accuracy of the guide pin fitting and inserting hole, and by controlling these external form accuracy of the guide pin 50 and piercing accuracy of the guide pin fitting and inserting accuracy, a necessary positioning accuracy is secured. |
