The present invention provides a scroll compressor which comprises: a casing; an electrically-driven unit having a stator fixed within the casing and a rotor rotationally installed within the stator; a rotational shaft coupled to the rotor to rotate along with the rotor; a compression unit disposed at a lower portion of the electrically-driven unit to receive a rotational force from the rotational shaft and compress refrigerant; and an oil storage space located within the casing. A plurality of oil discharge paths to allow oil accumulated at an upper portion thereof to be discharged to the oil storage space is formed on an outer circumferential surface of the compression unit to be spaced from each other, and an overall cross-sectional area of the oil discharge paths may be about 2 to about 12% of an inner diameter cross-sectional area of the casing brought into contact with or spaced from an outer circumferential surface of the compression unit in the compression unit. |
